Crane Inspector

General Description:

Perform overhead crane and hoist safety inspections and minor repairs. This would include but not be limited to, general lubrication, all customer interface, and associated paperwork with respect to safety inspections. Inspect chain slings and other lifting attachments for safety violations. Have solutions for problems associated with abuse or miss-use of equipment. Inspect and bring back all necessary data to ensure correct part(s) are ordered and replaced to bring equipment back to a safe working level.

Work experience requirements:

Must have strong background on Maintenance work of Overhead or large equipment
Basic knowledge of Electrical and (or) mechanical systems
Valid Drivers license
Must be knowledgeable on MIOSHA, Part 18 and 20 for overhead cranes and hoisting systems.

Education Requirements:

Minimum High school education or GED equivalent.
